We at Children’s Charter School are committed to doing “WHATEVER IT TAKES” and have “NO EXCUSES” to ensure academic and social success for all of our Rising STAR elementary students. We believe that all students can and will achieve at a high level of excellence.
In addition to helping our students achieve academically a cornerstone of Children’s Charter Elementary School is exposing our students to the world in which they live. As such, our students and their families are afforded opportunities – small class sizes, Boy Scouts, science lab, Girl Scouts, parent education nights, etiquette courses, K-5 music program, Saturday school, community tutors, field trips every nine-weeks, etc. – not available at many other urban public schools.
These opportunities are possible though a streamlined organizational structure / management style and community support. Our school does not receive any additional funding to provide these services to our students and their families. Children’s Charter Elementary Schools is a community school and as such we invite you to see our elementary school Rising STARs in action at 1143 North Street whenever you can.
